WWII, Holocaust, Germany Webquest
In my opinion, this Webquest guides students to finding inforamtion about Germany during WWII that they may not have found in their textbooks. The layout is easy to use and each task is fully described, as well as, having helpful tips on how to use PowerPoint at the end of their task. It's concise and should give students a full understanding of what is expected. The resources are interesting and unlike the previous Webquest, I feel students could reach full potential as far as the rubric is concerned. I enjoy the concept and that the creator was so detailed with directions. This could easily be implemented into any Social Studies classroom that wants to have a more in depth understanding of Germany, the Holocaust and Hitler during WWII.
This was a great webquest. I liked the task and the resources that were available. I also thought that having the powerpoint tips in the webquest was great. I liked that there were other history websites and quizzes that were available in the conclusion for more ambitious students or for those that finished the webquest early.

ReplyDeleteThis webquest is very useable and setup for both students and teachers to use. I found with the ones I found were complete for the student end but not the teacher page. So it was nice to see one that this webquest was complete. The setup was also visual appealing and functional.
ReplyDeleteThe color scheme was acceptable for the WebQuest. The introduction was put together well as it starts the thinking process and involves some higher level thinking on the Blooms Taxonomy scale. It was very well done and in my opinion a complete WebQuest. Like Alanna said, the extra work available for students to complete post WebQuest was a great idea as it gives the students who strive for more something else to learn.
ReplyDeleteIts a basic, attractive webquest that I think is easily accessible. While giving the students extra work to do helps them learn more it also keeps them quiet and busy while not distracting others. good thinking on their part.
ReplyDeleteGood job, Keri, in finding a solid webquest! I think the layout works very well, and the task is both interesting and informative. I agree with Alanna and Alex---having the extra work/info for students who want to learn more is a great way to keep all of the students occupied and concentrating. Those that do not want to dive into the extra info, and who are done early, will probably be the students who need extra teacher attention in any regard---but it doesn't hurt to try to keep these few engaged.
